Habari yako? *how are you in Kiswahili*

Since its an Afrobloggers wozzap this month, I’ll be greeting you all in each of the languages of the countries represented in this challenge, before I start every Blog. Today we are with the Kenyans. *smile*

Hitting right up to the prompt,

On the 2nd day of February, 2016, when I clicked the sign-up option on the WordPress account sign up, I didn’t know what I was going to talk about on the blog. All I knew was that I needed a space where I could vent out my views to anonymous readers on the web, and get away with it…

The first two years I posted pretty much about everything and anything. My first serious relationship, my major heartbreak, wrote poems on insecurities I had especially concerning social media and well, abstract thoughts that make me smile every time I check my 2016 posts.

However, in 2018, I started re-strategizing on what impact I could give my readers from this site. Yes, it was my site and I could say and do pretty much what I wanted, but I was slowly growing an audience and their thoughts really mattered to me. I figured I could use this space to grow and add value to those that stopped by and read. And so, I refocused. I knew the end game for me was to let all my readers know that Jesus loves them deeply, and post content on everyday life that they can relate with and grow from.

So, the major objective of my site is to let you, my prized readers, know that the secret to living a fulfilled, accomplished and all-round life is through doing life with Christ. In everything we do or say. Ultimately, we have to all agree that there’s a beginning and there’s an end. The only difference is that with me, the beginning and the end won’t be my major point of focus because I’m content. I won’t try to bite more than I can swallow and I’ll definitely consider others better than myself. I’ve only learned that in Christ which I desire you to do too. So much joy and fulfillment in there.

So yep, whatever I post on the blog, I hope my object of adding value to you dear reader will be achieved. Be it in the book reviews or the legal conversations, or the blogging challenges, my prayer is that neither of these posts will leave you the same. That’s why the site name is Resolute Scribbles. Every word I type is intended to achieve something, I’m intentional on making you smile, or empathetic or just making you think about life from a broader perspective.
