Dreams from the soul is a captivating tale about the great ends to which Martha, the protagonist in the book, goes to find her estranged father. Through a series of dreams, Martha’s ancestors reveal to her truths about her father’s lineage and descent that will definitely get you on the edge of your seat. If you’re Ugandan, you’ve definitely heard stories of the supernormal activities that happen at Ssezibwa falls. Edward explores these stories and so many others surrounding Ugandan culture.
I loved the originality with which Edward narrates this piece of writing. Edward makes weighty references to biblical connotations and scripture, as Martha is a Christianity and Religious teacher at Modern Day and Boarding Primary school in Namawojjolo; refers to tits and bits of African Traditional Religious practices and a whole lot of the Ugandan pidgin, which wholesomely makes for such a good read.
I still think that Edward could’ve explored more descriptive language into the narrations in each chapter to give the stories abit more depth and continuity, but regardless, I loved it. I’ll definitely review his 2nd publication and give feedback on it as well. Hope you’ll read it and let me know what you think about it.

I loved the suspense you created between each dream and the action following what Martha would do next. It’s a great start putting these stories out and I can’t wait to read more from you.
